Rev. Rolf T. Fure - Senior Pastor
Rolf grew up in Richfield, Minnesota and
graduated from Richfield High School in 1973. In 1977, Rolf married his
high school sweetheart Ann. In 1982, Rolf began attending North Central
Bible College (Assemblies of God) and graduated in 1986 with a BS degree
in Pastoral Studies.
Ann and Rolf have four sons and three grandchildren.
They live in Hermantown and have a female German Shepherd named “Jente”
which means "girl" in Norwegian.
Rolf’s favorite recreations are watching his son’s
sporting events and running. He has completed 12 full (26.2 miles)
marathons and two half marathons. (His goal is to finish before they start
taking down the barriers!) Rolf's main objective in teaching is “practical
Bible teaching for everyday living.” He is the usual speaker for Duluth
Gospel Tabernacle’s Sunday worship services. |

Rev. Ryan Underwood - Youth Pastor
Ryan grew up
in Nashville, Tennessee before moving to Minnesota to attend bible
college. In 2003 he married his wife Liz, and they both graduated
from North Central University in Minneapolis, MN. Ryan has a
Bachelor of Arts degree in Youth Ministries.
Ryan plays the guitar
and has a strong love for music. He also enjoys working with video
and computer technology. As of recently, he has tried his hand at some
basic home remodeling, and though he’s hardly a handyman, he knows just
enough to be dangerous.
Ryan began working with
the student ministry at Duluth Gospel Tabernacle in January of 2006. He’s felt a strong call to be involved in ministry since he
was very
young, and his passion is seeing students experience God in a true and
meaningful way. His ministry goal is to challenge students to
apply and live their faith in every area of their lives.
